Walking into...

Once Upon a Time…

In the town of Sfântu Gheorghe, there were two young people who often crossed paths during their school years and at friendly gatherings. Back then, we were just familiar smiles to each other as life took us in different directions. Orsi moved to Bucharest, while Szilárd continued his studies in Târgu Mureș and Pécs, later settling in Budapest.

Then came a small but life-changing coincidence—in December 2021, Orsi also moved to Budapest. All we needed was a little bit of luck to meet again… and that’s exactly what happened on January 30, 2022, at a mutual friend’s birthday party. One Negroni, or maybe two, or three… and a long conversation later, everything just fell into place.

And so the adventure truly began!

Our first skiing trip was a real challenge—at least for Orsi, who eagerly watched how Szilárd managed on the slopes. Before the first descent, there was a bit of worry—would he make it down in one piece? Knees, bones, ski poles—would they all survive intact? But as the minutes passed, the skis remained parallel, the balance was steady, and then came the first successful run, followed by many more. In the end, Orsi had to admit: Szilárd was actually a pretty good skier!

A Shared Passion for Good Food

We quickly found our common ground in the kitchen, as our love for discovering new flavors and creating delicious meals has always been part of our daily lives. We’ve baked heavenly cakes, rich lasagnas, fragrant apple pies, and gooey chocolate brownies—and there’s never such a thing as too many baked goods! Sometimes we cook together, sometimes one of us surprises the other, but one thing is for sure: every bite is a shared experience, and we enjoy it down to the last crumb.

A Love for Sports

Our passion for sports is also something we share—whether it's on land, in the water, or in a stadium, we always watch with excitement, cheer for our teams, analyze the games, and of course, sometimes even compete against each other!

A Natural Next Step

After countless adventures and love-filled everyday moments, it became clear that we wanted to spend our lives together. In April 2023, Szilárd proposed to Orsi, and on June 10, in an intimate ceremony, we said "I do." By December 2023, we had moved into our new home, and soon after, our family grew with the arrival of Fülöp, the dachshund. He makes sure our home is never too tidy and that our slippers are never where we left them.

The Big Day Awaits!

In May 2025, the long-awaited moment will finally arrive, when we can celebrate our love with all of our friends and family at a grand wedding!
